Description

14 The Plain is an early to mid 19th century building with a rendered exterior and a steep pantile roof. It stands three storeys high and features two windows on the second floor, which have glazing bar sashes with three and six panels in each window. The first floor has two-storey bays that contain large pane sash windows topped with pitched slate roofs. On the ground floor, there is a 19th century shop window in the bays, which is covered by a flat corniced roof. A single central entrance serves both shops and is adorned with a semi-circular hood and a fanlight above.
