Description

No. 12 The Plain is a building from the mid to late 18th century. It has a rendered exterior and a double Roman tile roof, featuring a moulded cornice and brick gable end stacks. The structure is two storeys high with an attic, which includes two flat-roofed dormers.

On the first floor, there are three windows with glazing bar sashes. The ground floor has two canted bay windows with flat roofs and cornices, along with three sash windows, each having glazing bar upper sashes and plain glazed lower sashes. The central entrance features a panelled door, which is sheltered by a flat timber hood supported by carved wooden brackets, and has a glazed rectangular overlight above it.
