Description

The building is a stable and attached cottage, now functioning as a single house, located about 40 metres northeast of Tracy Park. It is dated 1849, with "W. GUNNING BUILDER" inscribed on the stable to the left, and 1858 marked on the cottage to the right. The structure features rubble with stone dressings and a slate roof that has raised coped verges and finials. There is a reconstructed stone, two-storey, flat-roofed extension at the rear, and the porch has an asbestos slate roof.

The building stands two storeys tall and has five windows, all of which are two- and three-light ovolo mullion casements on the first floor. The ground floor includes a central segmental-headed stable entry with a 20th-century window inserted, flanked by doors on each side, both of which are blocked and have windows inserted. To the right, there is a 20th-century porch with a pitched roof, and a stone cross window to the left featuring an ovolo mullion and transom. All 19th-century windows have leaded lights.

The right return of the building has a cross window at ground floor and a two-light casement at first floor, similar to those on the front. The left return features a loading door at the upper level with a keystone and relieving arch, a pitching eye above, and mounting steps to the left.
