Description

Stable Cottage at Stafford House is a former stable building, likely constructed around 1848 and converted into a cottage in the mid-20th century. It features rough ashlar stone walls and a stone slate roof, with an inserted brick chimney located just left of center. The building is one storey with an attic and has a slightly projecting gable at the center. The ground floor includes a round arched opening that has been infilled with a 20th-century door. Above this, in the loft, there is a 20th-century stone mullioned window with metal casements, along with a sack hoist positioned above. The main frontage has four 20th-century stone mullioned windows, also with metal casements. The interior has been remodelled. The building is included for its group value.
