Description

The John Gilbert and Elizabeth Roper monuments are two headstones located in the churchyard against the east wall of the Church of Saint Andrew. One headstone is dated 1799 and features a scroll top with an inscription dedicated to John Gilbert. The other headstone, dated 1795, also has a scroll top and bears an inscription for Elizabeth, the wife of Robert Roper.
