Description
The entrance piers at the southern entry to Tracy Park date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of rock-faced coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. Each pier features a large square plinth measuring about 1.5 metres by 1.5 metres, which supports very tall circular piers. These piers have a moulded shaft ring and a square cornice at the top, which in turn supports a plinth with stone quoins, topped by a very large cornice and blocking course. Similar piers can be found at the northern entry to Tracy Park, which are listed under Wick and Abson Civil Parish.
