Description
Morton House is an early to mid-18th century detached house. It is constructed of rubble, originally rendered, with a brick parapet and a pantile roof. The building features brick stacks and a moulded stone cornice. The main facade has two storeys and four windows. These are 2-light casement windows with mullion and transom bars, leaded lights, and decorative catches, all set under segmental brick arches. A six-panel door is positioned centrally to the left, sheltered by a flat hood supported by brackets. Two rear wings are present, one being two-storey with a hipped roof. A former barn or coachhouse extends to the left of the main front elevation.
