Description
Yew Tree Farmhouse, formerly known as Spring Farmhouse, is a mid-18th century building located on Morton Street in Thornbury. The farmhouse is constructed of rubble with brick stacks and features a hipped roof covered in pantiles. It stands two storeys high and has three windows, which are 2-light casements with leaded panes set under segmental heads and arches. The central window is taller and includes a thin transom, with a low gable above that has a blocked semi-circular window. The entrance is a modern door situated beneath a large semi-circular hood supported by brackets. To the right of the farmhouse, a rubble wall with a louvre window conceals a lean-to extension.
