Description
This building is a cottage, now used as a shed, located about 5 metres north of Esperanza. It dates from the late 17th century and has undergone some alterations. The structure is made of rubble with a pantiled roof and features a single room plan. It stands two storeys high and has one window on the south front, which includes a single pane window at ground level, a slit in the gable, and a plank door with strap hinges to the right. The west side has two-light casement windows on both the ground and first floors, with the ground floor window being larger. The rear of the cottage also has a slit in the gable. Inside, the first-floor window retains its original plank shutters, which are now open to the roof, and there is a blocked first-floor window to the east. It is reputed to be the smallest cottage in Gloucestershire, measuring just 3 metres by 4 metres in total.
