Description

This is a late 18th-century house located on the north side of Market Place, Marshfield. The house is constructed of ashlar stone with a slate roof hidden behind a parapet and a moulded cornice. It has two storeys and a cellar. The front elevation features end quoins and a plain band above the ground floor. There are three windows on the ground floor and five windows on the first floor. The windows are a mix of 20th-century 4-pane, top-hung casements and 16-pane sash windows, with one 4-pane sash window on the ground floor to the left. All windows are set within plain stone surrounds. A two-storey, one-bay extension with a 20th-century door is situated to the right of the original building.
