Description
The Old Manor House is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the late 17th century and underwent alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries. The building is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and quoins, topped with a Cotswold stone slate roof featuring coped raised verges.
On the north elevation, the house has two storeys and four irregular bays, with some sections projecting as wings and gables. The windows include a mix of glazing bar sash windows and casement windows, which have ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds, with some windows featuring drip moulds. There is a plank door located in a projecting porch on the north side.
The west elevation showcases two stone gables, with paired sash windows on both the ground and first floors, and 2-light casements in the gables. The south elevation is single storey with attics, featuring large stone gables and stone gabled dormers. It has four bays and a cross wing to the right, with mostly 20th-century 2- and 3-light casement windows, two of which have moulded stone mullions and surrounds. There is a large, slightly projecting gabled section with a 19th-century door to the right, located in a porch.
