Description

The National Westminster Bank is a house that has been converted into a bank, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a half-hipped roof with a moulded eaves cornice. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, with quoins on the left side. The windows are sash style with horizontal bars and are set in plain stone surrounds, with a cornice above the ground floor window on the left. There is a plain band above the ground floor. To the right, there is a 20th-century shopfront and door. The return elevation facing the Market Place has three windows on the first floor, two of which are blocked, and includes a sundial.
