Description
This building is a house that was originally a barn, located 10 metres south of the White Horse Inn in Hambrook. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of rubble, which is mainly painted, with a pantile roof and gable stacks. The bottom floor is still used for storage, while the living space is above. The house has two storeys and features five windows, all of which are glazing bar sashes located only on the first floor. The ground floor is blank, except for a central, projecting arched blind porch and a rough cut parapet. On the rear elevation, there is one large central elliptical headed opening with voussoirs, flanked by two smaller similar openings, while the rest of the rear is blank.
