Description
Bowman's Batch is a house from the early 17th century that has been altered and extended. It features a roughcast exterior and a double roman tile roof. The south elevation is two stories high with four windows and irregular window placement, including 19th and 20th century two-light casements. The rear wing has a single window with a 16-light glazing bar sash. Inside, the north ground floor room boasts a moulded, framed ceiling and a deep chamfered bressumer above the inglenook fireplace. There is also another framed ceiling in a different room, which has deep chamfered beams and a small spice cupboard.
