Description

No. 27 West Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a slate roof and features brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has five windows, which are fitted with glazing bar sashes. There is a heavy timber porch with a rounded head located off centre to the right. The door, which dates from the late 19th century, has margin glazing in its upper half. The roof is pitched with overhanging gable eaves supported by moulded purlin pieces. At the rear, there is a two-storey gabled extension.
