Description

No. 56 West Street is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a tiled roof and features end brick stacks. The building has two storeys and a two-window range, with 9-pane sash windows on the upper floor. The ground floor has 4-light casement windows, where the glazing bars of the central two lights create a semi-circular arch. There is a central panelled door with a transom light, situated under a tiled porch.
