Description
This gazebo, located 25 yards northeast of the Administrative Block of Ham Green Hospital, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick with freestone dressings, previously rendered, and sits on a coursed rubble base. The roof is missing, but there is a restored brick parapet with ashlar details. The structure is hexagonal in shape and designed in the Gothick style. Each side features windows with moulded architraves, cills supported by brackets, and pointed ogee over-lintels, although only one glazing bar sash window remains. The doorway on the southwest side has a moulded architrave with an ogee-headed over-lintel.
