Description
This gazebo, located about 15 metres south of the west wing of Sexey's Hospital, was likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from local stone and has a rendered finish, topped with a pyramidal bonnet hipped roof made of clay tiles and featuring a brick chimney stack. The structure has a square plan and is a single storey with an undercroft. It includes 12-pane sash windows in plain openings on the east and south sides, a two-panel door with a timber hood supported by brackets on the north side, and a plain boarded door leading to the undercroft on the south side. The gazebo complements the west and east wings of Sexey's Hospital. The interior has not been seen.
