Description

No. 74 High Street is a house in a row, dating from the late 18th century. It is built of local stone rubble and features a double Roman clay tile roof behind a simple low parapet, with plain gables. The house has brick end and intermediate chimney stacks. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The building includes a plinth and parapet, with 16-pane sash windows set under exposed timber lintels. The central entrance has a 6-panel door that is framed by a timber shouldered architrave and topped with a pedimented hood. The interior has not been seen.
