Description
Myrtle Hall is an early 19th-century house located on Hung Road in Shirehampton, Bristol. The building is constructed of brick with limestone dressings, featuring brick gable end stacks and a double-pile slate mansard roof. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a symmetrical front that includes pilasters, a deep cornice, a parapet, and coped gables. The entrance consists of a semicircular-arched door with a fanlight, flanked by ground-floor canted bays with plate-glass sashes, and first-floor sashes with margin bars. There are also three flat-roofed dormers.
Inside, the central hall features a semicircular arch leading to a dogleg stair that has a ramped rail and stick balusters. Additionally, there is a brick garden wall to the left of the house, which includes a Gothic arch and a limestone key.
