Description
Steppe Cottage is a house located in Weston-in-Gordano, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with later alterations. The building is constructed of rubble and features a pantiled roof with stone and brick gable stacks. It has two storeys and four windows, all of which are 20th-century two-light casements positioned under the eaves. On the ground floor, there are three windows; to the right, there is a two-light and a three-light 19th-century casement with a hood mould, while to the left, there is a three-light 20th-century casement also with a hood mould. The second window from the left has a 19th-century door with raised fillets, strap hinges, and a hood mould. There is a single-storey lean-to with a two-light casement at the left return, and a blank gable end to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
