Description
The barn at Churchfield is a structure dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is built from sandstone rubble and features a double Roman tiled roof, with some areas covered in pantiles. The gable end facing south has an upper loading door that is complemented by a relieving arch, a ventilation slit above, and an owlhole, along with large quoins. The left side of the barn includes a central door and a loading door to the left, both with relieving arches, and a pantiled lean-to on the right. The right side mirrors this with a corresponding central door that has a timber lintel and a relieving arch. The interior has not been inspected.
