Description
The boundary walls, railings, and gates at Victoria Jubilee Langford Homes were built in 1887, possibly by Foster and Wood of Bristol. The walls are made of finely jointed squared and coursed dressed stone, complemented by wrought iron gates and railings. The boundary walls stand 0.5 metres high and feature 1 metre high square piers with moulded caps at regular intervals. Simple lance railings are placed between the piers, with decorative panels at intervals. There are two gate entrances on the east and west sides, each with 1.5 metre high piers and single leaf wrought iron gates that have lattice decoration. The central drive also displays similar details in its walls and railings. The construction was funded by Sidney Hill of Langford House.
