Description

The Devil's Bridge is a single span brick bridge built in 1841, located on Bleadon Hill in Oldmixon. It features ashlar coussoirs and has had its parapets renewed. The bridge spans the former Bristol and Exeter railway line, which was engineered by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It is noted to be the highest single span bridge on that railway line.
