Description
This is a turnpike milestone located on the north side of Bridgewater Road in Dundry, dated 1837. It is made of cast iron and features a hipped and canted post, of which approximately 50 centimeters is currently visible. The inscription on the milestone reads "TO BRISTOL 4" on the left side and "TO CROSS 12" on the right side, with "BRISTOL TURN ..." appearing below the date.
