Description

Lower Grove Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of rubble brought to courses and has double Roman tile roofs. The building is two storeys high and features three windows, all of which are three-light ovolo-moulded mullion casements with hoodmoulds, except for one two-light window located on the first floor to the left of the central door. To the left of this window is a lost relieving arch. The central door is set in an ovolo-moulded frame and is covered by a later hood. There are single-storey wings on both the left and right sides of the house. The rear of the building has 20th-century metal casements. The interior is not accessible.
