Description

YATTON C.P. MOOR ROAD (north west side) ST 46 NW 5/177 The Grange 13.10.52 - II Farmhouse, now house. Mid C18 with later alterations, including early C19 rear wing. Rubble, large limestone quoins, pantiled roof with raised coped verges and gable stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and 3 windows, all sashes with splayed stone heads, central C20 gabled porch with panelled and glazed inner door. Left return has lean-to and small 2-light attic casement. Right return has large external weathered stack, ground and first floor 2-light casement with stone segmental heads to right, small 2-light attic casement with segmental head; lower 2-storey rear wing has ground floor C20 plate-glass window, first floor 2-light casement with segmental head. Rear wing has lean-to at gable end, 1/2-glazed door and 4-pane sash under eaves at inner side; rear of main house has 1/2-glazed door and C20 plate-glass window, first floor 2 C20 windows. Interior: not inspected.
