Description

This headstone, located approximately 23 meters northwest of the Old Church of St. Mary, is a mid-19th century memorial created by Meneer of Penzance. Made of slate, it is shaped like a Greek stele and commemorates Francis Edward Lascelles, who served as First Lieutenant of the Royal Marines and died in 1841.
