Description
1 and 2 Trinity Cottages are a pair of houses built in 1858 for lighthouse keepers by Trinity House. They feature colourwashed render over granite rubble and have stone-coped gabled slate roofs with kneelers, as well as rendered end and ridge stacks.
Each house has a double-depth plan with a central entry and is two storeys high. They are symmetrical with a three-window range. The porches have kneelers to stone-coped gables, and the front windows are horned 2/2-pane sashes, with doors on the return sides. The ground floor has 6/6-pane sashes, while the first floor has 3/6-pane sashes, each flanking a central blind window above the porch. The interior has not been inspected. These cottages were built alongside a matching pair of houses of the same date.
