Description

Two stable ranges, a coach house, a barn, and adjoining outbuildings, including a cattle shelter, are located immediately east of Bradford House. These structures likely date from the 19th century and form an enclosed farmyard, separated from the garden of the house by a high brick and flint wall with slate creasing. The stable and coach house, which face the road, have brick walls and a slate roof and are two storeys tall. They feature large double doors and stable doors, with a loft door located over the southeast side of the stable block. At right angles to the road, there is a barn and a range of single-storey farm buildings, also with brick walls and slate roofs, which include timber doors and windows. This range continues northward with a single-storey open shelter shed that has brick walls and a slate roof, supported at the front by timber posts. East of the main stable block and parallel to the road, another stable range has walls that are partly brick and partly feature brick and flint banding, topped with a tiled roof. These buildings are included for their group value.
