Description

  1. PAMPHILL 5193 Bradford House ST 90 NE 1/1 2.11.82 II 2. Probably C17 origin, enlarged and altered in C18 and C19. Walls part brick, part brick and flint banding, on brick and stone base. Tiled roofs, some with stone eaves courses. Brick stacks. Two storeys and attics. Main range has C19 brick porch with gabled roof. One narrow double-hung sash window each side of porch. Ground floor also has two canted bay windows with double-hung sashes. First floor has four casement windows with glazing bars. Evidence of earlier blocked windows. Attic has three hipped dormers. Two-storeyed C18 and C19 additions on west and north, of similar construction. Internally, main ground floor rooms have deeply chamfered intersecting ceiling beams. C19 staircase with moulded balusters and wreathed handrail. RCHM Monument 10
