Description

This range of outhouses, barn, stables, and cowhouse is located about 25 metres northwest of Court Farmhouse. It dates from the mid-18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The structure is built of brick with plain tile roofs and has an overall L-plan layout, with the southern block, which serves as a coach house, almost functioning as a separate entity.

The east-west range includes a shorter limb that contains a cart house and stables, featuring a stepped roof and segmental headed openings. The north-south range has a five-bay barn at its northern end, which originally had a central threshing floor. The large entrances on opposite sides of the barn are now blocked, with a new entrance created in the north gable that has a rolled steel joist lintel. The vertical ventilator slits in the barn are also blocked.

To the south of the barn, there is a single-storey link block that forms the stables, which also has segmental headed openings and a dentilled brick cornice. Adjacent to this is a two-storey coach house with a hipped roof, featuring three ranges of segmental headed openings with two-light casements on the right side and a coach entry on the left. To the west of the north-south limb, there is a range of lean-to cowhouses.
