Description

Nos 20 and 22 on The Close are 19th-century cottages constructed from flint and brick, now faced with modern red brick. They are two storeys tall, each featuring one window bay and one door. The cottages have slate gabled roofs. The windows in Nos 20 and 22 are four panes wide, although the windows in No 22 have been altered with the top panels cut away and glazed. No 20 has a modern glazed door. These cottages, along with No 17 and Nos 19 to 22, are part of a group that includes Leslie House and The Tabernacle.
