Description

The Beale Monument is a chest tomb located approximately 2.5 metres south-east of the porch to the Church of St Nicholas in Weymouth. It commemorates Jeremiah Beale, who died in 1815. The tomb is made of Portland stone and features a simple Regency design. It has single panels on the long sides and reeded end pilasters, resembling the Bartlett monument.
