Description

Number 2 North Place is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall and features five windows. The front is finished in stucco, with a moulded eaves cornice and a blocking course. There is a moulded cornice and stringcourse at the first floor level, along with moulded archivolts around the windows. The first-floor windows have eared archivolts and keystones. The ground floor has round-headed door and window openings, including three windows and two doors, which create an impression of arcading. These openings are flanked by panelled pilasters, with recessed panels in the spandrels above. The entrance features a six-panelled door, and there are area railings present.
