Description

No. 76 on Salisbury Street is an early 19th-century building featuring a three-storey, three-window red brick front. It has a moulded stone cornice and blocking course, along with sash windows. The doorway and ground floor windows are set in sunk panels, which have moulded stone imposts and semi-circular heads. The round-headed doorway includes a fanlight, and the door itself has four beaded panels. The railings have been removed. Nos. 76 to 88 (even) showcase an early 19th-century style that, while common in other areas, is quite rare in Blandford. These buildings form a group.
