Description

Stanhope House is an 18th-century building, originally a five-window, three-story structure. The facade is primarily red brick with some burnt headers, and features a moulded brick and dentil eaves cornice, which is currently painted. Original windows on the second floor retain flush frames and triple keys, while ground floor windows and the doorway have been altered. The building forms a group with Nos. 69 to 77 on the west side of Salisbury Street.
