Description

No. 80 Salisbury Street is a three-storey stucco house with a basement, built in the early 19th century. The ground floor features rusticated detailing, while the upper part of the front has a sunk panel in the center. It includes string courses, a cornice, and a parapet. A projecting Ionic porch is present, with an iron balustrade forming a first-floor balcony. The round-headed doorway has a moulded archivolt, and the six-panelled door has four round-headed panels at the top. Nos. 76 to 88 (even) showcase an early 19th-century style that is relatively rare in Blandford. Together, Nos. 70 to 88 (even) form a cohesive group.
