Description

65 Newland is a two-storey building with a two-window ashlar front, dating from the early 19th century or earlier. It features a plaintile roof and sash windows that have altered glazing bars. To the left on the ground floor, there is a splayed bay. The central doorway is flanked by stone pilasters with reeded caps and a cornice, and it has a six-flush-panelled door with reeded panes and angle paterae. This building is part of a group that includes No 31 Newland, the east range of Sherborne House, the front and rear garden walls of Sherborne House, No 41, The Manor House, three cottages next to The Manor House, two cottages adjoining, Nos 57 to 93 (odd), and the north-east boundary wall to Newland Close.
