Description
67 Newland is a late Georgian building, altered in the mid to late 19th century. It is two storeys and has an attic, with two window bays. The roof is slate and gabled. The front features two segmental-headed sash windows, with sash windows in reveals, moulded archivolts, and keystones. The rendered front is emphasised by plain giant pilasters. A late Georgian stone doorway has Tuscan pilasters and a cornice, with paterae above the pilasters. The building has an ashlar plinth. It adjoins No 65.
The building forms a group with No 31 Newland, the east range of Sherborne House, the front and rear garden walls of Sherborne House, No 41, The Manor House, three cottages next to The Manor House, two cottages adjoining, Nos 57 to 93 (odd), and the north-east boundary wall to Newland Close.
