Description
This sheep dip, located 80 metres south of Whitcombe Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features a tunnel that runs beneath a cart track. The east end of the tunnel has a dressed stone wall with a small elliptical arch that is about 4 feet high. The entrance is rebated to accommodate a plate on the east side. The west end of the tunnel has a round arch that is approximately 6 feet high. The entire tunnel is about 15 feet long.
