Description

This is a detached cottage located immediately northwest of Hitts House, dating from around the 17th century. It features square lias rubble walls and a slate roof with gable ends. There is a brick stack at the lane gable end. The cottage is one and a half storeys tall and has two windows: one is a four-light stone mullion window with a carved label above it, and the other is a stable window with shutters, a wooden lintel, and a cill. Additionally, there is a plank door in the north gable end wall.
