Description

No 1 East Street is an attached house dating from the early 19th century. It features lias stone walls with a stone plinth and a slate roof that has stone gable copings on the left side. The house has two brick stacks located at the left and right gables. It is two storeys high and has three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars and recessed frames, topped with stone lintels. The front door is centrally located, made of wood, and includes a rectangular fanlight above with two glass panels. The house is positioned at right angles to No 3 East Street.
