4/117 Sheep Dip 40 Metres south east of Church Farmhouse

Sheep dip. Early C19. Circular brick revetment with capstones. Sides one metre high and dip 3 metres in diameter. Entry for water on north side, low square entrance. Exit on south side open to full height, with monolithic jamb stones each chanelled to take a water gate. Tunnel is approx. 4 metres long. Access into Dip from south east, via 5 shallow stone steps.
