Description
The structure is a sheep dip located 40 metres southeast of Church Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It features a circular brick revetment topped with capstones, with sides that rise to one metre in height and a diameter of three metres. There is a low square entrance for water on the north side and an open exit on the south side, which reaches full height and has monolithic jamb stones, each channeled to accommodate a water gate. The tunnel leading from the dip is approximately four metres long. Access to the dip is from the southeast, via five shallow stone steps.
