Description
The structure consists of walls and railings, along with piers topped with vases, located at the entrances to the house and stable. This 18th-century brick wall features stone capping and encloses the forecourt to the west of the house. It has panelled stone piers with capping and vases that flank a dwarf brick wall, which is complemented by iron railings and a central gate on the west side. The slender iron rails have spear-shaped finials, and the gate is supported by square standards topped with urn finials. The stable entrance is flanked by two pairs of rusticated brick piers, each with stone capping and bases. The outer vases have a slightly different design from those next to the entrance, and the vase on the southernmost pier is currently missing. There is another pier with a vase to the north of the main entrance, set into the curve of the wall. Coupar House, the walls, railings, and stables, Limetree House, and Nos 2, 3, 5, and 7 form a group.
