Description
No 2 (Town Clerk's Office) and No 3 are mid-18th century, two-storey buildings constructed with typical brickwork. The entire frontage features seven windows. The central section has a wooden cornice with modillions, while the sides display brick dentils arranged diagonally. The sash windows include some with triple keystones. No 2 features a projecting two-storey central bay topped with an open pedimented gable. The doorway of No 2 is adorned with a segmental pediment supported by voluted console brackets, and it has a distinctive pierced wooden fanlight that resembles petals. Coupar House, Walls, Railings and Stables, Limetree House, and Nos 2, 3, 5, and 7 form a cohesive group.
