Description

Goathill Lodge is a detached lodge to Sherborne Park, built in the mid to late 19th century. It features coursed stone walls with ashlar stone quoins and steep thatched roofs that are hipped and extend well beyond the walls, supported by wooden coving. The building is a single storey with attics and has an irregular arrangement of windows, including one and two-light wood casements with wooden glazing bars set diagonally. A canted bay window is located on the front elevation, to the right of the centre. The front door, also positioned to the right of centre, has diagonal panelling and a single top light, dating from the 19th century.
