Description

No. 3 South Street is a mid-19th century building that forms part of the same block as the rear of the Greyhound Hotel on East Street. It features a stucco exterior and a pitched slate roof, standing at 2½ storeys tall. The building has rusticated quoins and a ground floor, along with a contemporary shopfront that includes elaborate cast iron air vents and brackets for a canopy. There is also a raised stucco name panel located below the window. No. 3, along with Nos. 3 to 9 (odd), the Bridport Arts Centre, and Nos. 11 to 17 (odd) and 17B and 17A, is part of a group with the Greyhound Hotel on East Street.
