Description

The Old Barn is a barn that also incorporates a watermill, likely dating from the 18th century, with a main roof added in the 20th century. The structure features rubble stone walls and a half-hipped tiled roof. It has opposing double doors set within hipped porches. Inside, there are wooden loft floors. The mill is located in a rear outshut, where a cast iron wheel and machinery remain intact, although they are no longer operational. The wheel is situated directly beneath the machinery and may have originally been used for operating farm equipment as well as for grinding. The roof shows some traces of thatch.
