Description
The School House is a former school building constructed in 1873. It features dressed stone walls and a chamfered stone plinth, topped with a slate roof that has stone gable-copings. The building is designed in an L-shape and has one and a half storeys. The east elevation has four bays with coupled trefoil-lights that have straight-chamfered stone mullions and pivoting metal casements. The half-dormers also have stone gable-copings, each adorned with a quatrefoil in the gable. There are two doorways on the west wall, positioned at the left and right center, both with pointed heads and straight-chamfered edges. The doors are plank-style, studded, and date from the 19th century.
